Kimberly Gettys, Executive Director
Kimberly Gettys possesses over 15 years of experience in the education sector. Her teaching background spans elementary, middle, and high school levels. She has also served as a mentor with the Big Brothers Big Sisters organization in Charlotte. Additionally, Kimberly is actively involved in her community, holding the position of secretary on the HOA board.
In her professional role, she oversees office operations at Maggie’s Landscaping & Designs in Charlotte, North Carolina. She has streamlined business processes by implementing office procedures and systems, resulting in increased customer sales and retention.
Kimberly graduated from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a master's in education and a bachelor’s in economics.. She enjoys reading, family time, yoga, and traveling.
Her desire to continue the legacy of the late Dr. Charles Herbert Flowers was the catalyst for the foundation's existence and purpose. She is passionate about the foundation's mission and will work to ensure its success now and into the future.
