Johnnie C. Hinton, Jr. - Vice Chair

  

Mr. Hinton brings over 30 years of experience in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry to the board of The Charles Herbert Flowers Foundation (CHFF).  He has a proven track record in selling professional services, driving business growth, forging strategic partnerships, and articulating unique value propositions to executive decision makers, which has contributed to the success of various organizations. In addition to serving on the board of the CHFF, Mr. Hinton is the Head of Business Development and the Energy Sector Leader for NOVA Engineering & Environmental, where he focuses on driving revenue growth and mentoring staff on business development and client management best practices.  


He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Architectural Engineering from North Carolina A&T State University and is a registered Energy Consultant.  Outside of his professional commitments, Mr. Hinton enjoys spending time with family and friends, working out, traveling, and playing golf.  He is committed to the CHFF's core mission to provide financial assistance through scholarships to students from diverse backgrounds who seek higher education in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) disciplines.  Mr. Hinton looks forward to contributing his expertise to help guide the organization towards sustainable, future success.
